Despite feeling a bit under the weather, season seven "American Idol" finalist and Atlantic recording artist Jason Castro tied the knot this past weekend.

Jason, 22, and fiance Mandy Mayhall married on Saturday in his hometown near Dallas, Texas. Jason proposed this past Halloween while the two were dressed up as Beauty and The Beast.

Wes Hamilton performed at the wedding and tweeted, "At Park Cities to perform the wedding of @jasoncastro and Mandy Mayhall. Praying for God's blessing on their marriage...Jason and Mandy are now man and wife."

Season seven runner-up David Archuleta was in attendance. Jason's brother, Michael, was also at the wedding along with friends Bryce Avary, Jordan Critz, Micah Kinard, Ryan Edgar and Eli Logothetis.

Jason tweeted about the wedding on Sunday morning saying, "Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams... It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!! :)"

Jason has been in Dallas for a while now, and on Tuesday he tweeted about a bachelor party. “Bachelor partayyyy!!! Bowling Poker and pool all in the same room!”

Fellow finalist Brooke White was expected to also be at the wedding, but she had to cancel because she too is a bit sick. She tweeted,“so I was supposed to be in Dallas for the next few days… but had to stay home cause I’m not feelin’ too swell:(”.

Jason plans to release an EP on January 12th with a full album to follow in early 2010. He will also start a national tour on January 20th.
