Danny Gokey's hometown radio station in Milwaukee 106.1FM announced this morning that he's coming back to his hometown for an album release concert on Saturday, March 6. The concert will be held at Turner Hall Ballroom, starting at 7:00pm. Fans who buy a ticket will also get a copy of Gokey's debut album, My Best Days. Zap2It: Could "American Idol" finalist Adam Lambert be headed for the Academy Awards? Ryan Seacrest tweeted, "Talked to @annakendrick47..shes been buds w/ @adamlambert since 18. She might take him to oscars.." Turns out Anna Kendrick told Seacrest on his radio show that she and Lambert "saw each other at party about a year ago and he told me, 'You can't tell anybody but I tried out for American Idol and I got through Hollywood Week.' I was like, 'Okay! You can't tell anybody but I just booked this movie with George Clooney!' We didn't see each other again for a year and finally we saw each other at the Critics' Choice Awards and the SAG Awards. We were like, you know, it's been quite a year for both of us." Read more. The Wrap: Howard Stern told his satellite radio listeners on Monday that he is considering leaving Sirius – and radio altogether -- to become a judge on “American Idol.” Stern confirmed a report that Fox is interested in hiring the Sirius shock jock to replace Simon Cowell on the reality show. “There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f---ing karaoke contest,” Stern said. “It might be possible, we’ll see,” he said, adding: “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.” Stern’s five-year, $500 million contract with Sirius expires at the end of the year. Arizona Daily Star: Former Arizona Wildcat turned Hollywood music producer, Harvey Mason is taking on remaking the classic "One Shining Moment". And who has signed on to do leading vocals for the project? None other than Jennifer Hudson! As far as the changes being made to the song Mason said, "The song is a standard, a classic. You don't want to tamper too much." One change he will making, though, is adding a 50 person backing choir that will "sound amazing". Read more.
