"American Idol" finalist and Sony Nashville recording artist Danny Gokey continues to travel from city to city doing a press tour leading up to the March 2nd release of his debut album, My Best Days.

Gokey and three members of his band stopped in Little Rock, Arkansas on Thursday afternoon to do a radio interview for KSSN 96 FM and I was lucky enough to attend.

Listeners got to hear the title track off of his debut album, and Danny also performed two songs live, "Life on Ya" and "I Will Not Say Goodbye."

Gokey talked about life after Idol saying that the show has given him the chance to do what he loves. He also talked about Sophia's Heart Foundation, the charity that he started in honor of his late wife, Sophia.  Gokey says "I Will Not Say Goodbye" is about her.

Danny also revealed that tour dates will be announced soon. And, he's scheduled to make an appearance on AI Season 9, but couldn't give out any more details.
