The live broadcast benefits the Gay American Heroes Foundation, a national memorial for victims of LGBT hate crimes, which tracks staggering LGBT hate crime stats, keeps pages and pages of victim tributes, and offers way YOU can get involved to change bias laws in your area and federally in Washington. The special aims to raise awareness about and garner support against hate crimes. Throughout the night, nationwide viewers will be prompted to participate. One lucky viewer will even win an all expense paid trip to Hollywood, which includes airfare, three nights at the Roosevelt Hotels, dinners at O Bar and Club Eleven, and $400 in gift certificates from Leather Shop 665.
